Green Development, a Guatemalan company that helps businesses develop and implement strategies to reduce carbon emissions, has recognized FOGEL DE CENTROAMÉRICA as a Carbon Neutral company in its manufacturing process of commercial refrigerators.

Back in 2013, FOGEL DE CENTROAMÉRICA began measuring its carbon footprint and, through environmentally efficient processes, has been reducing its emissions each year with the goal of becoming a Carbon Neutral company. In 2019 the company has taken the next step in the process and has compensated all of its greenhouse gas emissions from its 2018 manufacturing operations.

FOGEL works continuously to protect the environment through improvements in its products and processes, contributing to reduce its own emissions as well as those of its customers, and will continue to compensate its carbon footprint for years to come as a part of its commitment with the environment.
