FOGEL PRESENT IN THE EURO CUP 2012

Guatemala is present in the Euro 2012 in Poland-Ukraine. FOGEL sold 3,700 FROSTER® refrigerators in Poland, which will be used to frost beers sold during soccer matches at the 4 stadiums of the championship.

Besides European economical crisis, FOGEL found a spot in the market with the maximum European soccer event. Jacobo Tefel, CEO, explains that selling refrigerators to Poland wasn´t easy, the electrical system had to be adapted and the user information and safety labels had to be translated to polish.

“Europeans traditionally drinks their beers at temperatures between 7ºC and 12ºC and was surprising to know that the preference is changing and now they drink their beers at -3ºC or -4ºC” said Tefel.
This is not the first time FOGEL’s refrigerators are present at a soccer event. In 2010, FOGEL’s refrigerators were used during the FIFA World Cup, in South Africa. The same year FOGEL’s refrigerators were used at the Sunlife Stadium, in Miami, FL., for the Super Bowl XLIV.

FOGEL manufactured and exported more than 69k refrigerators to bottlers and breweries in 48 countries of America, the Caribbean, Europe and Africa.
